Vallé first opened the doors to education in 1961. Lorrie Killer�s passion for the beauty industry brought her to Vallé in 1981. She began her journey by managing operations and then took over ownership in 1986. Thousands of students have come from all over North America and have successful graduated and became salon owners, educators, and have worked on television and movie sets, cruise ships, and sales.

Our students are our number one priority. Our mission statement is to fulfill our student needs. Our promise is to provide positive environment and top quality training while encouraging each student to be the best they can be. Our philosophy is �Only the best will do.� We are constantly upgrading and improving our programs and delivery methods. We provide a premier education with a designer hair program and glamorous make-up course.

Educators

With passion and excitement, Jenny Ryce brings energy to our industry. Her work has been featured on the cover of Salon Magazine, in various publications and televised media.

Ryce was formally a Senior National Educator and Artistic Color Coordinator for John Paul Mitchell Systems. A stylist of twelve years, it is her goal to inspire confidence and a love of hairstyling to all those around her. Through professionalism and education there is no limit. She is sure to motivate and ignite the passion that lies within you.

Kym Elderkin brings enthusiasm and inspiration to the beauty industry.

She has over 10 years of beauty experiences including owning a salon in the beautiful Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa. Alongside being an advanced stylist and color tech, Kym has earned her Instructor Training Diploma. Kym is also a knowledgeable make-up artist with advanced training in Germany and France. Her skills and passion have stimulated students to reach beyond their highest levels of expectations.

Lorrie Killer is Valle�s administrator and director of education. With strong leadership, dedication and guidance she brings a vast amount of knowledge, education and passion to Valle. Lorrie has devoted her life to providing a quality education and premier academy. Her expertise extends beyond the beauty industry to encompass the education field. Her knowledge includes hair design, color, esthetics and nail technology. She is a certified instructor of adult education. Lorrie continues to maintain strong affiliations with PCTIA, and the BC Career College Association.
